Location: Ketchikan
Type: Assault, DUI
On 4/22/10 at 1407 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of an assault at the Lighthouse Grocery parking lot. Investigation revealed that Jeremiah Perez, 32, of Ketchikan, had assaulted a male in the parking lot with a fishing gaff. Perez was arrested for felony assault in the third degree and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with no bail. Charges of DUI are also being forwarded to the District Attorney's Office.
