Two Sitka fishermen cited

From the Alaska State Troopers:

Location: Sitka
Type: Failure to register
On 4/4/13 Benjamin Floyd, 33, of Sitka, was cited by Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Sitka Post, for failing to register with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game prior to directed lingcod fishing in the Sitka area in 2012. Arraignment set in Sitka District Court.

Location: Sitka
Type: Retain undersized king salmon
On 4/7/13 Peter Dejongh, 43, of Sitka, was cited by Sitka Wildlife Troopers for retaining an undersized king salmon while participating in the commercial winter troll fishery. Troopers had contacted Dejongh on 4/6/13 as he was offloading in Sitka and discovered the undersized fish. Dejongh has a mandatory appearance in Sitka District Court.
