Homer fisherman gets court date in Cordova

From the Alaska State Troopers:

Location: Cordova
Type: Commercial fish closed period
On 12/10/12 Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Neal Reutov, 22, of Homer, for commercial fishing during a closed period. The F/V Contour was observed by state aircraft fishing during a closed period on 5/21/12. Arraignment scheduled for 1/16/12 in Cordova District Court.

  1. I've got video of this guy with a quarter of his net out of the water rocked down at Culross this year too. Funny thing was after he realized I was video taping him, THEN he quickly towed it off the beach and left the area.

  2. funny , how this comes up 7 months after the incident, whats up with that? Maybe going through some old films and figured they were a little short on revenue. Normally if there was an infraction or perhaps he was a few minutes late getting the end of his net aboard because of more fish than anticipated
