Two Prince William Sound gillnetters cited

From the Alaska State Troopers:

Location: Prince William Sound, Esther subdistrict
Type: Commercial fish closed period
On 6/29/12 Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Cordova Post, observed from a state aircraft the F/V Slash Zone operating a drift gillnet during a closed period. The investigation revealed Kenneth R. Utterson, 53, of Gakona, was the operator and permit holder on the vessel, and he was cited for the offense. Arraignment set for 7/25/12 in Cordova District Court.

The investigation revealed Leonty Molodih, 43, of Homer, was the permit holder on the vessel, and he was cited for the offense. Arraignment set for 7/25/12 in Cordova District Court.
