Troopers charge two salmon trollers at Ketchikan

Location: Ketchikan
Type: Commercial fish closed area
On 6/30/12 Caleb Miethe, 32, of Maui, Hawaii, was cited by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Ketchikan Post, for commercial salmon fishing with power troll gear in closed waters. Miethe was contacted fishing near Stone Rocks southeast of Prince of Wales Island. A mandatory court appearance was set for 7/12/12 in Ketchikan District Court.

On 6/30/12 James Beal, 70, of Metlakatla, was cited by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Ketchikan Post, for two counts of commercial salmon fishing with power troll gear in closed waters. Beal was contacted fishing near Stone Rocks southeast of Prince of Wales Island. A mandatory court appearance was set for 7/12/12 in Ketchikan District Court.
