Four charged with illegal fishing in Bristol Bay

On 7/14/25 Bryan W. McMahan, 41, from Gakona, and a 14-year-old juvenile, from Wasilla, were cited by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers for commercial fishing during a closed period in Kvichak Bay.

Location: Naknek section

Type: Commercial fish closed period

On 7/13/25 Jehra C. Moore, 40, from Sedro-Woolley, Wash., and Jonathon D. Wicker, 41, from Choteau, Mont., were cited by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers for commercial fishing during a closed period in the Naknek section.
