Dutch Harbor report

From the local police blotter:

Assistance rendered, Nov. 1 — Officers responded to a report that a man was in the water near the UniSea plant, but found instead that an intoxicated fisherman had simply passed out in the galley of a fishing vessel other than his own.

Vehicle theft, Nov. 4 — A rental vehicle was stolen from the Carl E. Moses dock and found some hours later. Brandon S. Ober, 44, was identified as the culprit and subsequently was charged with vehicle theft.

Trespass, Nov. 5 — Officers stood by while a drunken sailor, who had been fired from his most recent place of employment, collected his belongings and left said location.

Assist other agency, Nov. 6 — FBI agents asked for assistance locating a man suspected of having fled to Unalaska following his involvement in several West Coast crimes.
