Troopers cite several Bristol Bay fishermen

From the Alaska State Troopers:

Location: Ugashik
Type: Commercial fish closed waters
On 7/12/15 Gregory Basargin, 23, of Homer, was cited by Alaska Wildlife Troopers for commercial fishing in closed waters 428 feet west of the west boundary line of the Ugashik District. Barsargin was cited into Naknek District Court.

Location: Ugashik
Type: Commercial fish closed waters
On 7/8/15 Eric Hesselroth, 64, of Bothell, Wash., was cited by Alaska Wildlife Troopers for commercial fishing in closed waters 240 feet west of the west boundary of the Ugashik District. Hesselroth was cited into Naknek District Court.

Location: Nushagak
Type: Commercial fish closed period
On 7/11/15 Karl Isaksen, 58, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., was cited by Alaska Wildlife Troopers for commercial fishing in closed waters 9 minutes and 29 seconds after the closure of a commercial fishing period. Isaksen was cited into Naknek District Court.

Type: Grounded net
On 7/4/15 David L. Kopra, 63, of Homer, was cited by Alaska Wildlife Troopers for commercial fishing with a drift gillnet grounded above the waterline. Kopra was cited into Naknek District Court.

On 7/4/15 Jon R. Lawler, 30, of Los Angeles, Calif., was cited by Alaska Wildlife Troopers for commercial fishing in closed waters. Lawler was cited into Naknek District Court.

Type: Unmarked setnet site
On 7/6/15 Frederik S. Munro, 22, of Homer, was cited by Alaska Wildlife Troopers for commercial fishing from an unmarked setnet beach site. Munro was cited into Naknek District Court.
