Dutch Harbor report

From the local police blotter:

Suspicious person, Dec. 3, 1146 hours — Caller reported a tall man carrying a buoy, an activity which he found suspicious. Officers did not locate the buoy-sporting suspect.

Assistance rendered, Dec. 5 — Two men who had fallen, hurt themselves and were quite cold flagged down a police officer and requested a ride back to their vessel, stating they had been unable to flag down a taxi. The officer provided courtesy transport.

Found property, Dec. 6 — A kayak, on Summer Bay Road.

Public safety, Dec. 7 — Weather advisory issued after the National Weather Service issued a blizzard warning.

Trespass, Dec. 8 — Caller asked police to remove a woman from his residence, and told the responding officers that the woman never leaves after he invites her to his house. Officers suggested that perhaps he should stop inviting her. The woman left without incident.
