Type: Commercial fish closed season
On 10/1/11 Alaska Wildlife Troopers in Haines contacted Kris Morden, 46, of Haines. Investigation revealed that Morden was operating commercial Dungeness crab gear from the F/V Sequel prior to the noon commercial opening. Morden was issued a summons for
commercial fishing during a closed season and given a mandatory court appearance date of 10/14/11 in Haines District Court.
