Location: Prince William Sound
Type: Commercial fish closed waters
On 6/8/11 at approximately 0758 hours, Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Cordova Post, contacted Jeff Olsen, 48, of Wasilla. Investigation revealed that Olsen was operating a drift gillnet aboard the F/V Jacqueline Kay in waters closed to commercial fishing in the Eshamy District. A summons was issued to appear for arraignment on 6/29/11 in Cordova District Court.

On 6/10/11 Brian Shaw, 47, of Cordova, was cited by the Valdez state trooper for commercial fishing in the closed waters of the Esther subdistrict in western Prince William Sound. Arraignment scheduled for 7/27/11 in Valdez District Court.
