Dutch Harbor report

From the local police blotter:

Animal, June 13 — The extremely protective bald eagles at the Dutch Harbor post office attacked a small boy who was riding his bike nearby. No injuries were reported.

Animal, June 13 — An immature bald eagle that flew headlong into the grill of a passing vehicle impeded traffic while it sat stunned in the middle of the road. It later flew away on its own power. No damage was reported to the car.

Animal, June 13 — Caller reported two vicious dogs were roaming about the PCR (Parks, Culture and Recreation). An officer responded and allowed himself to be licked repeatedly until the dogs' owner arrived on scene.

Suspicious activity, June 16 — A man who had docked his boat at a private dock found that his vehicle had been blocked on the dock by a large trawl door. Officers contacted both the boat and dock owners and ensured that both parties were aware of their rights and responsibilities in such a situation.

Sexual assault/offense, June 17 — An intoxicated man expressed his dislike of a UniSea security officer by flipping her off and then flashing her from his bedroom window. The victim elected not to press charges and the inebriate was given a warning about his behavior.

Criminal mischief, June 17 — Caller reported several large road signs had been shot multiple times. Under investigation.

Trespass, June 17 — Officer issued a trespass advisement, per Bering Fisheries management, to a man no longer welcome on the property.
