Two Sitka salmon trollers accused of illegal fishing

Type: Commercial fish closed waters
On 3/20/11 at approximately 0734 hours, Alaska Wildlife Troopers observed the F/V Lady Linda operating salmon power troll gear in closed waters west of the winter troll line at Cape Edgecumbe. The vessel was subsequently contacted and Mark L. Danielson, 49, of Sitka, was cited for commercial fishing in closed period/closed waters. Arraignment is set in Sitka District Court.

The vessel was subsequently contacted and James S. Dicicco, 46, of Sitka, was cited for commercial fishing in closed period/closed waters. Arraignment is set in Sitka District Court.
