Seven charged with illegal fishing in Sound

Type: Commercial fish closed waters
On 6/23/10 Gregory C. Synner, 51, of Wasilla, was cited by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Seward Post, for commercial fishing in waters closed by regulation in western Prince William Sound. Synner is the skipper and permit holder of the F/V Aquaholic. Arraignment was set for 8/3/10 in the Seward District Court.

On 6/23/10 Karl E. Buckland, 47, of Moose Pass, was cited by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Cordova Post, for commercial fishing in closed waters of the Eshamy subdistrict, western Prince William Sound. Buckland is the skipper and permit holder on the F/V Navigator. Arraignment is scheduled for 7/21/10 in the Cordova District Court.

On 6/27/10 Travis W. Lee, 22, of Sutton, was cited by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Cordova Post, for commercial fishing in closed waters of the Eshamy subdistrict, western Prince William Sound. Lee is the skipper and permit holder on the F/V Number 7. Arraignment is scheduled for 7/21/10 in the Cordova District Court.

Beedle is the skipper and permit holder on the F/V Anjeli. Arraignment is scheduled for 7/21/10 in the Cordova District Court.

Type: Commercial fish closed waters
On 6/28/10 Steven Johnson, 45, of Cordova, was cited by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Valdez Post, for commercial fishing in the closed waters of the Esther subdistrict, as the permit holder on the F/V UFO. Johnson also was issued a citation for no photo identification in possession. Arraignment scheduled for 7/28/10 in the Cordova District Court.
