Troopers ticket nine in Prince William Sound

On 6/19/10 Quang Nam Ho, 60, of Cordova, was cited by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Valdez Post, for commercial fishing in closed waters of the Eshamy District. Arraignment scheduled for 7/21/10 in the Cordova District Court.

Location: Palmer
Type: Setnet operation
On 6/18/10 Caleb Preston, 20, of Girdwood, was cited by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Valdez Post, for commercial fishing his set gillnet within 300 feet of another set gillnet in Main Bay, western Prince William Sound. Preston and another setnetter have been in conflict for over a year, and the investigation involves the Department of Public Safety, the Department of Fish and Game and the Department of Natural Resources. Arraignment scheduled for 7/21/10 in the Cordova District Court.

Type: Commercial fish closed waters
On 6/19/10 Regan Mann, 45, of Cordova, was cited by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Valdez Post, for commercial fishing in closed waters outside the Eshamy District. Mann is the permit holder on the F/V Josephine Rose. Arraignment scheduled for 7/21/10 in the Cordova District Court.

On 6/18/10 Cordova Wildlife Troopers cited Anthony Rodrigues, 25, of Cordova, for commercial fishing in closed waters aboard the F/V Sockeye. Arraignment is scheduled for 7/21/10 in the Cordova District Court.

On 6/17/10 Cordova Wildlife Troopers cited Eric Fleming, 29, of Anchorage, for commercial fishing in closed waters aboard the F/V Sea Dawg. Arraignment is scheduled for 7/21/10 in Cordova.
