Cordova troopers cite shrimper on gear violation

Type: Shrimp pot violation
On 4/24/10 Dennis Petre, 57, of Valdez, was cited by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Cordova Post. Petre, the skipper and permit holder of the F/V Otter Dodger, was cited for not having a biodegradable escape mechanism as required on his commercial shrimp pot gear. Arraignment is scheduled for 5/26/10 in the District Court of Cordova.
