Troopers ticket two halibut fishermen in Cordova

From the Alaska State Troopers:

Location: Cordova
Type: No commercial crew license
On 03-13-09, at approximately 1300 hours, Alaska Wildlife Troopers from Cordova Post contacted Myron L. Basargin, 18, of Nine Mile Falls, Wash., during a Joint Enforcement Agreement halibut dockside boarding of the F/V Letun. Basargin was cited for not having a 2010 commercial crew license. Bail was set at $260.

Type: Employ unlicensed crewmember
On 03-13-09, at approximately 1300 hours, Alaska Wildlife Troopers from Cordova Post contacted Mihey V. Basargin, 26, of Homer, during a Joint Enforcement Agreement halibut dockside boarding of the F/V Letun. Basargin was cited for employing a crewmember who did not possess a 2010 commercial crew license. Bail was set at $260.
