From the local police blotter, as reported by the Unalaska Advertiser:

Assault, Oct. 13 — An intoxicated John Galaktionoff, 47 yoa, of Unalaska, punched his brother in the eye after his brother refused Galaktionoff’s orders to consume a pink energy drink. Galaktionoff was arrested on one count of assault.

Traffic, Oct. 16 — Several crab pots fell off a truck after a restraining strap broke. The pots, which blocked an entire lane of traffic, were removed and reloaded onto the truck.

Suspicious activity, Oct. 17 — Officer contacted a man and a woman who were engaged in sexual intercourse on top of an electrical box near an apartment building. After confirming with the female that the sex was consensual, the officer advised the two to refrain from further such activity until they had reached the confines of their hotel room.
