Two ticketed at Dutch for vessel ID violations

From the Alaska State Troopers:

Location: Unalaska
Type: Vessel identification
On 11/14/10 Dutch Harbor Wildlife Troopers issued a citation to Keith Harold Colburn, 47, of Redmond, Wash., for operating a commercial fishing vessel without having an Alaska Department of Fish and Game metal triangle plate permanently affixed to the vessel. Arraignment is scheduled for 11/29/10 in Unalaska District Court.

On 11/14/10 Dutch Harbor Wildlife Troopers issued a citation to John Carroll Nelson, 50, of North Bend, Wash., for operating a commercial fishing vessel without permanently affixing an Alaska Department of Fish and Game number plate to the vessel. Arraignment is scheduled for 11/29/10 in Unalaska District Court.

  2. Too funny about old Keith-couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Perhaps he believes in his delusion that old "Sucker Punch Hillstrand" put the Dutch Harbor Wildlife Troopers on his case. Maybe he did but Keith always acts like he's got his sh*t together but obviously he forgot something kind of important.

    This could have never happened to a nicer well i can't say but from what i heard from a former deackhand they should fix the rounded up deck before finding a place to put the plate.

  5. I had used some foul language so that's one reason I deleted but I cannot stand Keith myself and I really feel that it also could not have happened to a nicer guy. I realize the fine is minuscule but anything that takes one thin dime out of this mean man's pockets is outstanding. This man is mean to his greenhorns and treats his deckhands like dirt. He's also jealous of Johnathan Hillstrand because most of the women think Johnathan is hot and Keith is not.
