Type: Commercial fish during closed period
On 8/22/09 at about 1139 hours, Alaska Wildlife Troopers received a report of a fishing vessel in Izhut Bay, fishing after the closure. Troopers responded and contacted Michael Clemens, age 50, of Las Vegas, Nev. Clemens was given a summons for commercial fishing during a closed period and released. Approximately 5,000 pounds of salmon was seized by troopers.
