From the local police blotter:
Animal, Jan. 18 — Caller reported an injured eagle on the side of the roadway. Officer responded and captured the wounded eagle. Prior to the eagle being moved to Public Safety for transport to Anchorage, it escaped and flew away.
Trespass, Jan. 22 — Caller requested assistance with removing a problem employee from his vessel. Officers responded and assisted in removing the employee, who appeared to be having mental health issues. He was referred to people who could possibly assist him.
Assistance rendered, Jan. 22 — Caller requested advice on how to deal with a former crewmember having issues with methamphetamine.
