From the local police blotter:
Ambulance request, Oct. 25 — EMS personnel provided care and transport for a fisherman with a badly injured foot.
Welfare check, Oct. 26 — Drunken brother reported his equally intoxicated sibling had been puking for the last hour. Officers responded and found two drunks, one of whom professed to be fine and used his two middle fingers to express just how fine he really was.
Drunk disturbance, Oct. 29 — Officer contacted an intoxicated patron at a local bar who challenged first another patron and then the officer to a fight. The obnoxious inebriate was advised to go back to his vessel before shore leave was cancelled for all his comrades.
Drug law violation, Oct. 29 — A fisherman turned over to a store manager a baggie of what appeared to be marijuana, apparently found in a store aisle. An officer collected the marijuana for destruction.
Theft, Oct. 30 — A fisherman reported that his vehicle, which looked nearly identical to the one he had earlier parked next to, had been stolen. Attempts to locate the stolen vehicle were unsuccessful but hours later the stolen vehicle had been returned and the identical one moved. No charges were filed.
Criminal mischief, Oct. 30 — Housing manager reported that a man had ripped the wires from security cameras around a company housing complex. Under investigation.
Assist other agency, Nov. 1 — Officers assisted U.S. Coast Guard personnel with their investigation of a vessel grounding.
Ambulance request, Nov. 1 — EMS personnel provided care and transport for a fisherman with a back injury.
Found property, Nov. 1 — A bicycle, stolen three times and now recovered three times.
Impound, Nov. 1 — Several vehicles abandoned at different docks were slated for impoundment and destruction.
