From the local police blotter:
Assist other agency, May 19 — Officers attempted to locate a fisherman to advise him of a family emergency. Family members were able to contact the fisherman before officers found him.
Assault, May 23 — Caller reported being struck several times in the face after he squirted a former coworker with a squirt gun. Under investigation.
Animal, June 3 — Mother reported her son had been attacked by a bald eagle, leaving him with a laceration on the right side of his head. The on-call physician was notified and asked to contact the mother.
Drunk disturbance, June 6, 1313 hours — Officers responded to a hotel regarding an intoxicated squatter who had not paid for his room. Officers determined that the drunk had been fired for fighting with his captain, had been given significant severance pay, and had run out of friends who were willing to deal with him. Officers found one last person who was willing to let him sleep in the front yard.
Drunk disturbance, June 6, 1658 hours — An intoxicated squatter was seen wandering about in the road and yelling. Officers responded and determined that the man's earlier camping arrangements were no longer suitable. The squatter was provided with contact information for a person who might be able to help him with his problems.
