Dutch Harbor report

From the local police blotter:

Assault, Dec. 16 — Fisherman reported being assaulted by fellow crew while at sea, with the result that he was unconscious for several minutes and woke to multiple chipped teeth and a possible broken nose. An Alaska State Trooper took charge of the investigation due to the assault having occurred outside of the city's jurisdiction.

Theft, Dec. 17 — Caller reported his hamster had been pinched, taken from its cage inside a parked vehicle while the caller was inside Safeway. A short time later, the caller reported his rodent, apparently not stolen after all, had been enticed back to its home by a trail of food.

Trespass, Dec. 19 — Kaleinainoa Asentista, 28, of Anchorage, was charged with criminal trespass after he was found inside a UniSea bunkhouse, harassing two UniSea employees.
