From the local police blotter:

Suspicious activity, Oct. 31 — UniSea security reported that someone had docked a skiff in a suspicious location near managers' housing. An officer determined that this did not constitute a crime.

Public safety, Nov. 3 — High wind advisory, gusting to 80 mph.

Disorderly conduct, Nov. 3 — Officers responded to a disturbance at the Grand Aleutian hotel, and were met with an extremely intoxicated man who exposed himself to security officers and beat his roommate with a pillow before being placed under arrest. Ruben Eram, 24, of Portland, was charged with criminal trespass, indecent exposure and resisting arrest.
