On 7/31/11 at 0456 hours, Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Sitka Post, observed the F/V Island Girl operating commercial salmon seine gear before the 0500 hours opening in Tebenkof Bay. The permit holder and operator, Lars R. Eide, 67, of Petersburg, was cited for commercial fishing during a closed period. Arraignment set in Petersburg District Court.
