Man cited, marijuana seized after Sitka boarding

From the Alaska State Troopers:

Location: Sitka
Type: Marijuana possession
On 3/22/14 Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Sitka Post, contacted Gordon M. Jensen, 54, of Everett, Wash., during a routine boarding of the F/V Maverick. Investigation revealed Jensen was in possession of marijuana. He was issued a summons to appear in Sitka District Court and the marijuana was seized as evidence.

Sitka man cited over vessel license, marijuana

From the Alaska State Troopers:

Location: Sitka
Type: Vessel license
On 2/25/11 Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Sitka Post, contacted Jerry A. Puckett, 36, of Sitka, during a routine commercial fishing inspection. As a result of the contact, Puckett was cited for failing to display a 2011 vessel license and was issued a summons for possessing a small amount of marijuana onboard the vessel. Arraignment is set in Sitka District Court.

Cordova troopers make marijuana bust

From the Alaska State Troopers:

Location: Cordova
Type: Misconduct involving a controlled substance
On 8/23/09 Robert W. Erickson, 49 yoa, of Kodiak, was cited by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Cordova Post. Erickson was cited and released for smoking marijuana in public behind the Cordova Fish and Game office. The arraignment date was set for 9/30/09 in the District Court of Cordova.

Bristol Bay fisherman jailed on marijuana charge

From the Alaska State Troopers:

Location: Naknek
Type: Misconduct involving a controlled substance
On 6-22-09 investigators from the Dillingham WAANT Unit, with the assistance of the Alaska State Troopers King Salmon Post and the Bristol Bay Borough Police Department, served a search warrant on the F/V Roser, a 32-foot fishing vessel docked at Naknek. Investigators seized 9.28 ounces of marijuana from the vessel. The vessel's owner, David Zielinski, was arrested and charged with misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fourth degree. He was lodged at the King Salmon Jail.

Dutch Harbor debauchery

From the Unalaska Advertiser:

Suspicious person/activity, June 8 — UniSea Security reported an odor of marijuana coming from some room at the UniSea Inn. The source could not be determined.

Drunk disturbance, June 10 — Officers assisted UniSea Security and EMS volunteers with a rather intoxicated woman who was flailing about in puddles of her own vomit.

Civil, June 12 — A fisherman who allowed a crewwoman to become a co-signer on his bank account learned she had used about $3,000 for personal purchases unrelated to the business. The fisherman was advised to pursue the matter through civil court, as the woman had legally been given access to his funds.

Noise disturbance, June 14 — Officer accompanied a UniSea Security officer to a room wherein a man was making much noise, and advised the man he would be arrested if such noise persisted.
