Two ticketed at Dutch for vessel ID violations

On 11/14/10 Dutch Harbor Wildlife Troopers issued a citation to Keith Harold Colburn, 47, of Redmond, Wash., for operating a commercial fishing vessel without having an Alaska Department of Fish and Game metal triangle plate permanently affixed to the vessel. Arraignment is scheduled for 11/29/10 in Unalaska District Court.

Arraignment is scheduled for 11/29/10 in Unalaska District Court.

Fisherman cited in Hobart Bay herring fishery

Type: Commercial vessel plate requirement
On 4/24/10 Alaska Wildlife Troopers contacted Dominic Papetti, 59, of Washington, while on patrol at the Hobart Bay sac roe herring fishery. Investigation revealed Papetti's vessel did not meet the commercial fishing vessel plate requirements and he was subsequently issued a citation with bail set at $110.
