Happy ending, except for the bear

From the Alaska State Troopers:

Location: Beach between Ekuk and Clarks Point
Type: Human remains — unfounded
On 6/19/09 Dillingham-based Alaska State Troopers received a report that a human body washed up on the beach between Clarks Point and Ekuk. Troopers responded via state aircraft and located the intact body. The remains were of a bear, not of a human.
